Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Lavender Fashions website at https://lavenderfashions.com and any orders or consultations you book with us. By contacting us or placing an order, you agree to these terms.

1. Consultations

Initial consultations at our Doha studio are free of charge and carry no obligation to place an order. Consultation appointments are by prior arrangement — please contact us via WhatsApp or email to schedule.

2. Orders and Payment

• A deposit (typically 50% of the agreed price) is required to confirm an order and begin work.
• The remaining balance is due upon collection of the finished garment.
• Prices are quoted in Qatari Riyals (QAR) and confirmed in writing before work begins.
• We reserve the right to adjust pricing if a client significantly changes the design brief after work has commenced.

3. Timelines

Estimated completion timelines are provided in good faith at the time of order. Complex garments, fabric sourcing delays, or high demand during peak seasons (Eid, wedding season) may affect delivery dates. We will communicate any delays as soon as they are known.

4. Fittings and Alterations

Alterations arising from our stitching are included in the price of the garment. We fit and refit until the garment meets the agreed design and fits correctly. Alterations requested due to a change in the client’s measurements after order confirmation may incur additional charges.

5. Client-Supplied Fabric

We accept client-supplied fabric with the understanding that:

• We will take reasonable care with all materials provided.
• We are not liable for defects, shrinkage, or damage inherent to the fabric itself.
• We will advise if a supplied fabric is unsuitable for the intended design before commencing work.

6. Cancellations and Refunds

• Orders cancelled before cutting or stitching commences: full deposit refunded.
• Orders cancelled after work has commenced: deposit is non-refundable to cover material and labour costs.
• Completed garments collected and then returned are not eligible for refund, but we will make reasonable alterations to resolve any fit issues.

7. Design Ownership

Designs created by Lavender Fashions for a client are made exclusively for that client. We do not reproduce or sell identical designs to other clients. Design concepts remain the intellectual property of Lavender Fashions; the physical garment belongs entirely to the client upon full payment.

8. Photography

We may request permission to photograph finished garments for our portfolio. This is always at the client’s discretion. We will never share identifiable photos of clients or their garments without explicit consent.

9. Limitation of Liability

Our liability is limited to the value of the order placed. We are not liable for indirect losses, including but not limited to inconvenience arising from a delay in completion.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Qatar. Any disputes arising from orders or services will be subject to the jurisdiction of Qatari courts.
